Hercules

MV5BMTQ4ODA5MTA4OF5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTgwNjMyODM5MTE@._V1_SX214_AL_Nick and I saw Hercules today.
It was good, not great, not bad… good.
I think Dwayne had a stack of weights to the side he pumped out before every scene… dang he is big.

They really made an effort to portray legend and how it develops, in an artistic manner.
Hercules’ feats embellished, Centaurs as men sitting up on horses and seen from a distance, Cerberus as 3 headed but actually 3 different wolves, hydra as men in masks, and a belief in self as “Hero” and you can do anything.  It didn’t bother me… it was just such an obvious and strong effort to debunk legend, and then supernatural, and mixing Hercules as a savior “figure” who wouldn’t “forgive”… probably purposefully encompassing all embellished “belief”… such as yours.   But maybe I’m picking a bit too much.
Really you could see it and not get any of that.  No worries.  Not that much of a biggie to me.  It was a movie.  Really just a good movie… and that’s being generous.

In Christ,
Mark
