Nick Woodcox’s brother, Zach Woodcox has just returned from a tour of duty in Afghanistan. We thank God for bringing Zach back safely. Thank you for your prayers as we celebrate his safe return.

Zack Woodcox is with the 2/8 Marines, Golf Company as a 2nd Lieutenant.  The 2/8 stands for 2nd Battalion 8th Marines and is known as “America’s Battalion.” As their mission is to “Locate, close with and destroy the enemy by fire and maneuver or repel the enemy’s assault with fire and close combat” they typically do a lot of ground fighting.  His job is to make the Taliban leave Afghanistan while teaching the local Afghans how to stand up to the Taliban themselves.  He graduated from the University of Colorado.  When home, he is stationed at Camp Lejeune NC. Please pray for him and his fellow soldiers.
